Colts
Under 12's entertained Horsham winning by 9 wickets with 3.3 overs to spare. Horsham batted first and set a total of 106 runs. Good catches by Freddie Newmarch and Marcus Campopiano being the highlight of an innings where only 4 wickets fell. In reply Cuckfield only lost 1 wicket as Harry Clark and Campopiano both retired on their 25's and Finbar Tilford added some lusty blows to seal victory.
Under 11's played local rivals Haywards Heath in the NMSL winning by 52 runs. Joe Cambridge with 5 wickets in his three overs kept Heath to a modest total of 239. Adam Willis 21, Jeremy Lancaster 16 and Ben Gibbs 17 helped Cuckfield reach their 291.
Under 10's played their re-scheduled top of the division clash with Lindfield. Winning the toss and electing to bat Cuckfield had a shaky start on a wet wicket. Alex Rydon with a superb spell of bowling for Lindfield made it hard for the Cuckfield batters who could only post a score of 264 where on Rob Cope could reach double figures. Ben Meyeratken 3, Ben Candfield 2 and Joe Cambridge 1 all bowled well to defend the total and some smart fielding helped Cuckfield to a 34 run victory.
Under 9's skipper Joe White led his team to a victory in some style as his 23 along with Dominic Sear's 23 saw them set a total of 324 at home to Pulborough. It was then Sear 3 for 1, Sam Candfield 3 for 2 and White with a wicket on his first ball and 3 fantastic catches in the field helping Cuckfield to a massive victory by 179 runs.
