Men's 1st XI

The Cuckfield 1st XI is the club's flagship.  They compete in the Sussex County Premier League as one of the top club sides in the County.

After having served a 4 year apprenticeship in the County League Division 2, they have graduated to the top flight Premier League where they compete against clubs including Horsham, Eastbourne, and Brighton & Hove for the Premier League Title.  As an emerging Premier League side, Cuckfield benefits from a young contingent mixing in and learning from the more experienced war-horses.  It showed potential finishing in the top three in Division 2 for four consecutive seasons, and third in 2006 and second in 2007 in the Premier Division.  Cuckfield has set about it's goal of being the leading club in Mid Sussex and fulfil that potential.  With the introduction of an overseas player and new recruits, the club is in a strong position to compete in the top flight and to spend many years as one of Sussex's premier clubs.

But that's just the cricket.......

Once off the field, the social atmosphere takes over with drinks boy sheriff, match reports and MOTMs, all contributing to eventful evenings back at the pavilion. All in all, it is a side that insists on playing hard, but above all, having fun!
