Whether you’re a buddy tyro hoping to make it into the First or Second XI or a seasoned old pro trying to prove to yourself and others that you still have something to offer, the Third XI is just the place for you this summer.
A challenging season lies ahead in the 1st Division, but it’s a perfect opportunity to step up to the plate and make your mark.
After two successful seasons (Winning Div 2 of the Stoner League in ’04 and then finishing a commendable third last season in Div 1 and gaining promotion in 2008) the Third XI are looking to continue to perform at a high standard.
Under new management for the coming season with an emphasis on playing to win and team spirit, and above all for enjoyment, Saturday afternoons on the North field or at some picturesque Mid Sussex Grounds with the Third XI is the place to be.
