Men's 4th XI

League: Mid Sussex Stoner Division 3

We started the 4^th XI three years ago to provide competitive cricket mainly for two groups of players – our promising colts from age 13 upwards, who are successfully playing in their age groups, as an introduction to adult cricket on good pitches; and for shall we say the more mature members of the club who still love to play and can help the youngsters develop their own game. Add to that some of our better players looking to regain some form and it makes up for competitive cricket played in a spirit which seeks to get everyone involved for maximum enjoyment.

For the last two years we have finished mid-table in the 3^rd Division of the Stoner Mid-Sussex League and as this suggests, the level of the opposition is just about right for our mixture of players.
